SIM card
Your connection to the T-Mobile HR network

You activate it by placing it into your mobile phone, switching it on and entering the PIN number you will find on your user card. Scratch the foil on a Simpa voucher and you will uncover a 14-digit code. By placing your first call you have activated your SIM card which is now ready for use and the initial amount is automatically added to your Simpa account.

SIM card security

Each SIM card has a built-in chip that stores your unique personal identification number (PIN), personal unblocking key (PUK) and memory space for storing your phone numbers and SMS messages. SIM card with 32K capacity enables you and to use the SMSinfo service (SIM Toolkit technology), store up 220 phone numbers in your phone book as well as 30 SMS messages.

PIN number is your personal four-digit secret number that protects your SIM card from unauthorized use. Unless the PIN control function is deactivated, you will have to enter your PIN every time you switch on your mobile phone. If you enter your PIN incorrectly three times in a row, the SIM card will automatically be blocked, and you will only be able to unblock it by entering your PUK number.

PUK number is your personal eight-digit secret number and it cannot be changed. If you enter your PUK incorrectly ten times in a row, your SIM card will become unusable. In that case you can request SIM card replacement at a T-Mobile point of sale or a T-Centar. You can unblock your SIM card in your mobile phone’s menu or by entering the following code: **05*PUK*newPIN*newPIN#

You can change your PIN number in your mobile phone’s menu or by entering the following code: **04*oldPIN*newPIN*newPIN# or **05*PUK*newPIN*newPIN#

SIM card replacement

If you enter your PUK number incorrectly ten times in a row, your SIM card will become unusable. SIM card replacement can be executed at every T-Mobile point of sale and T-Centar. If you would like to keep your existing phone number when replacing your blocked or damaged SIM card, produce your old SIM card and User card (because of the PUK1 number). You can also replace a valid SIM card, if you would like a new one with 64k capacity.
f your SIM card has been lost or stolen, you will not be able to get a replacement Simpa SIM card and keep your phone number, but if you are still in possession of the correct PUK1 number of the lost or stolen SIM card, you can become a subscriber and keep your phone number.

Cost of SIM card replacement is 50 HRK.
